As explained above, our focus is on building sustainable healthcare infrastructures and to expand equal access to care. Visitors to our booth will be able to learn more about how we contribute to these objectives and how local partnerships are leveraging our efforts in these areas. Of course, our experts are very much looking forward to guide conference attendees through our vast range of products and solutions, from diagnostic imaging, laboratory diagnostics, cancer care to minimally invasive therapies. And we are very keen to discuss how we can support healthcare providers along the entire continuum of care.
3. What are your organisational goals for 2025-2026? Please highlight some of your recent and upcoming partnerships, if any.*
In the Middle East and Africa, our focus as Siemens Healthineers will be on the development of healthcare infrastructures and the rising burden of non-communicable diseases such as cancer, diabetes, stroke etc., which is even more significant across regions with growing populations. Both public and private partnerships are of paramount importance to us to support in upgrading local healthcare infrastructure.
An example for one of our ground-breaking partnerships is a recently signed agreement with the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority and our colleagues from Varian, to establish seven oncology centres. A major milestone in expanding cancer care infrastructure!
Together with the African Medical Centre of Excellence in Abuja, we are taking a leap forward in access to care with the private sector, as Siemens Healthineers provides oncology and radiology equipment for a state-of-the-art hospital, enabling Nigerians to be treated in their own country, as opposed to having to travel abroad. “We pioneer breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably.”
