Precision Health World Forum

Theme: Uniting the Region for Precision Health

10–11 February 2026

Building the Future of Genomic Collaboration in the Gulf and Beyond
The Precision Health World Forum is an exciting new platform launching in 2026, designed to bring together voices from across the Gulf and around the world to explore the evolving promise of genomics and precision health.

This inaugural edition will focus on creating connections—between scientists, innovators, healthcare leaders, and policymakers—to shape the early foundations of a shared precision health future. With a spotlight on regional priorities and international best practices, the forum will highlight how collaboration across borders can unlock new opportunities in research, innovation, and health equity.

Chaired by Dr. Ammira Al-Shabeeb Akil, Director of the Metabolic and Mendelian Disorders Translational Research Program and Principal Investigator at Sidra Medicine Qatar, the forum aims to inspire open dialogue and foster partnerships that will guide the region’s entry into the global precision health arena.

At a time when precision medicine is moving from promise to practice, the Precision Health World Forum 2026 invites us to do what matters most: collaborate with purpose, act with urgency, and deliver results that improve lives.

Launched as a natural extension of the work we have been building in Qatar, this inaugural Forum was created to connect science with clinical reality—and to bring together both global and regional expertise to co-develop scalable solutions that truly impact healthcare systems and patient outcomes.

As a precision medicine scientist, I’m committed to laying strong foundations and expanding them through meaningful partnerships. This is not just another event—it’s a focused initiative to unite efforts around real-world challenges, advance them further, and accelerate measurable progress. Together, we can move beyond concepts and concentrate on what truly makes a difference.
