Prof. Sheila Tlou is Special Ambassador, African Leaders Malaria Alliance; Board Member, WaterAid International; Champion, Member of the Pontifical Academy for Life; Champion, Nursing Now Challenge; Chancellor, Botswana Open University; Former Co-Chair, Global HIV Prevention Coalition; former UNAIDS Regional Director and Former Minister of Health of Botswana. She is a Gender and Health activist , has published extensively on Gender and health issues, and has received over 30 International Awards for Leadership in Global Health Equity.
